Learn to Read the Old German Script for Beginners

Reading historic German documents written in the old German script, Kurrent, is a challenge for many scholars and family historians. This workshop will introduce you to the basics of reading Kurrent. Through presentations and practical exercises, you will learn strategies on how to decipher individual characters, words, and simple texts, even if you don’t speak German. Presenters: Mark L.
