Biography
Katy Bodenhorn is a professional genealogist and the owner of Katy Bodenhorn Genealogy Research, LLC. She earned a B.A. in Family History & Genealogy from Brigham Young University and has spent over a decade in client research. A national speaker and writer, she is the former genealogy director for the Historical Society of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and is currently the Manager of Academic Programs at Historic Trappe in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Katy specializes in United States genealogy research with an emphasis on the Mid-Atlantic region — particularly Pennsylvania. She offers full-service research projects, assistance with lineage society applications, and one-on-one research strategy consultations.

I have spoken at a variety of conferences, including those hosted by IGGP, the National Genealogical Society (NGS), Ohio Genealogical Society, the Indiana Genealogical Society, and more. How do you approach payment for making a presentation? I am willing to negotiate a speaking fee with clients.
Other expenses you would like to have reimbursed if you travel? 1-2 hotel nights, depending on distance.
