Geographically, he is particularly focused on emigrants from Switzerland. Rolf Hallauer is chairman of the Genealogical-Heraldical Society of the Regio Basel (GHGRB) since 2010. He is editor of the journal Regio-Familienforscher (RFF) and course instructor in genealogy, research inventory and old German current script. By profession, he was a federal investigator and previously a commissionar/forensic scientist. He will be happy to organize your personal genealogy trip to Switzerland.

Biography
Rolf Tiberio Hallauer, *1958, started his research activity in 1980. He thus has 45 years of experience in genealogy and family tree research. In addition to researching his own family history, Rolf works with and without commission on numerous families and their history. He pays special attention to the frequent emigrations from Switzerland.

Presentation topics
Specific case of an inquiry from the USA about an immigrant with Swiss roots (17th to 19th century). Language that everyone can understand, supported by pictures and text. The research is based on solid knowledge of the archival records to be consulted. It is not just about church records.
