Purpose:
The purpose of the Pommerscher Verein Central Wisconsin Inc. is 1) to promote and contribute to the growth of Pomeranian culture through the study of Pomeranian history, music, customs, food, language and dance, 2) to cultivate the appreciation of cultural heritage and history in all people, and 3) to cooperate with German and other cultural groups.

Membership Benefits:
Members are qualified to receive a subscription to Dat Pommersche Blatt, the PVCW’s quarterly newsletter, which contains information about past and future activities and events, interesting articles about Pomeranian history and genealogy, and stories contributed by members and friends of the Verein.
Members are also welcome to quarterly membership meetings that include a noon meal, a featured speaker, a Pomeranian singalong, Plattdeutsch language-related activities, and a business meeting.
The July quarterly meeting is our Piknik im Bush (Picnic in the Woods) with a brass band concert and special summer activities, including a homing pigeon release and Volksmarch.
