With a passion for connecting people to their roots, Barbara Schmidt is an experienced professional genealogist specializing in German censuses, research in Mecklenburg and Lübeck, and corporate archives. In addition she has a proven record of introducing genealogy to childrend and young adults.
As a bilingual researcher (German/English), she bridges historical gaps for both German and international audiences.
In addition to their work as a genealogist, Barbara Schmidt is a co-organizer of Genealogica, a virtual festival dedicated to family history research. Through lectures, workshops, and consultations, they help individuals and organizations uncover their histories with accuracy and depth.
