Hotel room update (31 January 2025)

The conference venue, the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center, has informed PalAm that the block of 170 rooms for the IGGP conference has sold out. But as with any conference, rooms may become available as people change their plans and cancel previously made reservations. So the guidance for anyone needing a hotel room is to check with Nationwide first. The conference group rate is $145/night and includes a complimentary hot and cold buffet breakfast. If no rooms are open at Nationwide, here is additional information regarding reservations at other area hotels. The information below is current as of 31 January 2025.

Hyatt Place Hotel

Nationwide recommends that conference attendees who do need a room consider staying at its “sister” hotel, Hyatt Place. The Hyatt Place Hotel is located at 7490 Vantage Dr., only 2.1 miles away from the conference venue. Hyatt Place is offering a rate of:

• $142 per night plus tax for a king room
• $156 per night plus tax for a room with two queen beds

Both types of room come with a complimentary hot and cold breakfast and free parking.

One advantage of booking a room at Hyatt Place is that several restaurants are located near the hotel. However, like Nationwide, Hyatt Place does not offer shuttle services. IGGP will facilitate ride-sharing through the Whova conference app closer to the date.
