Purpose:

The association pursues the cultivation and promotion of family and heraldry in the Palatinate-Rhine region. It promotes the publication of research results from the subject areas it represents.

In district and local groups, lectures and the exchange of experiences and research results it provides suggestions for members’ own and joint work. Lectures and exhibitions of family and heraldry material are intended to introduce large sections of the population – especially young people – to family research and the associated local research. Promoting the publication of research results and providing advice on the printing of such works is a main concern.
