The Arbeitskreis für Familienkunde und Auswanderung im Heimatbund für das Oldenburger Münsterland (FAK) is a working group and emerged from the History Committee of the Heimatbund in the Oldenburg Münsterland region. Members of the group make their researched genealogical data available through a database, including family trees and transcriptions of church records. In addition, usable sources for family research—such as soul registers, tax records, and levy registers—are made publicly accessible. The topic of emigration from the Oldenburg Münsterland is also part of the group’s focus.
