Since it was founded in 1961, our task has been to support you in your family history research and to provide you with opportunities to do so.

Take a look around our website and get to know Roland zu Dortmund and his tasks and offers related to the fascinating hobby of genealogy research.

We would be happy if you like our offer and if we could welcome you to our events online on Zoom or in Dortmund.

We prefer people who decide with their hearts to become a member of our club than people who feel forced to become a member because they want to take advantage of one of our offers.

Therefore, participation in our events and the use of our other offers are not linked to club membership or other obligations.

If you still decide to become a Roland member, whether active or passive, we would of course be very happy about this kind of support to ensure our club’s work.

The annual fee is for…

Individuals: 30.00 EUR
Married couples/partnerships: 35.00 EUR
Please give us authorization to debit the membership fee from your bank account. This reduces the administrative effort and you don’t have to worry about a bank transfer or cash payment. Please send us the membership application and direct debit authorization completed and signed.

You can claim the membership fee for the Roland in Dortmund as part of your tax return at the tax office.
