Foundation for East European Family History Studies (FEEFHS)
FEEFHS was organized in 1992 as an international organization to promote genealogical research in Eastern and Central Europe, inclusive of all ethnic, religious, or other social groups. Germanic genealogy has always been a major focus along with Slavic and other ethnicities in the region.
Having originally served as a federation of societies with similar interests, the organization changed its name in 2014 to The Foundation for East European Family History Studies with a focus on education and access to resources.
